Queens in the largest of New York City’s five boroughs. The other four are Manhattan, Staten Island, the Bronx, and Brooklyn. Though not as glamorous as Manhattan, or as glorious as Brooklyn, Queens is the most ethnically diverse of the five boroughs. The Dutch were the first settlers in Queens, in 1636. Today, the borough is majorly residential and with a few manufacturing activities around Long Island City. Shipping and storage facilities are also present along the East River. The borough is home to the prestigious John F. Kennedy International and La Guardia airports. It is also an academic center where St. John’s University, New York’s main campus is located, and a few of City University of New York’s branches.
Queens is home to numerous attractions. You can visit the Museum of the Moving Image, the New York Hall of Science, Queens Theatre or Queens Museum. Restaurants and eateries are also in plentiful in Queens. There are authentic Greek, Latin American, Indian, Asian and Turkish restaurants all over the borough. Queens’ has flourishing neighborhoods and Trion Real Estate Management is proud to have a strong footing in many of them. We manage both commercial and residential properties throughout Queens.
